CHICLE Translation Terms & Conditions
1. Scope of Translation Services
CHICLE provides professional written translation services in multiple languages, as requested. Translation services are performed based on the materials and instructions provided by the client.
2. Translation Process & Quality
Translations are completed in the standard form of the target language, unless a specific regional variation is requested in advance. CHICLE ensures that translations reflect the tone, intent, and reading level of the original text while preserving its meaning. Translated documents are intended to read as if they were originally written in the target language.

CHICLE is not responsible for delays or errors resulting from unclear, illegible, incomplete, or revised source materials submitted after work has begun.
4. Turnaround Time
Standard turnaround time is 5–10 business days, depending on project length and complexity. Urgent requests may be accommodated when possible.
A $35 rush fee applies to projects requiring completion within 5 business days or fewer. Large projects may require additional time. Final turnaround time will be confirmed after document review.
5. Pricing & Payment
A $60 minimum deposit is required for small translation projects before work begins. For larger documents or projects, a deposit or payment schedule will be determined and communicated at the time of the quote.
Quotes are provided after review of materials. Payment terms will be communicated at the time of the quote, and work will begin only after the quote has been approved.
6. Revisions
Minor revisions related to accuracy or formatting are included if requested within a reasonable timeframe after delivery. Revisions resulting from changes to the original source text are subject to additional charges.
7. Confidentiality
CHICLE treats all client materials as confidential and takes reasonable measures to protect sensitive information. However, CHICLE is not responsible for confidentiality breaches caused by third-party platforms, client systems, or electronic transmission.
8. Limitation of Liability
CHICLE is not liable for decisions, actions, or outcomes resulting from the use of translated materials. Liability, if any, is limited to the amount paid for the specific translation service provided.
