Study Abroad

CHICLE can arrange Spanish study for you in Mexico, Costa Rica, or Spain.

CHICLE's Spanish instruction is excellent but we are, of course, located in North Carolina, where English is the primary language. For those who can spend time in a Spanish-speaking environment, we are happy to recommend three programs.

We have been sending students to the Academia Hispano Americana in San Miguel de Allende, Guanajuato, Mexico since 1999.

More recently, we have established a relationship with a program at the Centro Panamericano de Idiomas in Costa Rica. They have three different locations—urban, coast, and mountains. We have visited this school and feel its quality is excellent, and have references from former students. We have a special program for university students during the summer of 2011.

Our newest link is with the Centro de Lenguas e Intercambio Cultural in Sevilla or Cadiz, Spain, where one of our first Spanish teachers is now living and working. There are a great many options for study and living with this program. We are happy to meet with you and describe the different options.

For any of these programs, we can make your arrangements (except for airline reservations) and provide some orientation.
