About the program

Learn to communicate in the foreign language you will need while traveling abroad.

This conversation-based program provides travelers with an introduction to select languages and cultures. Class topics include an overview of the country or region's culture and a brief immersion in the foreign language.

The courses meet two hours a week for four weeks and the cost is $160 plus the cost of materials, which will not exceed $20. No previous language training necessary.

How to begin your trip even before you depart

Studying a language before traveling can help you to experience the people and culture of a country in a way that other travelers often miss.

When you study at the CHICLE Language Institute you learn a new language the same way you learned your native language – naturally – without difficulty and memorizing.

• Our highly effective conversational style of instruction immerses you in your new language.
• Our native-fluent instructors dedicate part of each class to give you first hand experiences regarding the culture and customs you will encounter.
• And there is time for you to ask questions that you might have about the culture, people, or places of interest.

You will begin speaking and understanding conversations in days, adding each week new vocabulary, grammar, and information. You will also receive an audio CD to help you remember what you learn in class.

By preparing a little before you travel, you will have a better understanding of what you see, be more adventuresome, and feel more at ease.
